Cambridge

Boats called Punts for punting on the river Cam. The best way to tour the colleges of Cambridge University.
Mathmatic Bridge, as seen from a punt. This bridge was sucessfully engineered to stand securely without bolts, screws or nails. However, large bolts were added later after pranksters from rival colleges disassembled the bridge on numerous occasions.
Cambridge's Bridge of Sighs. Our punting guide told us that this bridge was supposedly modeled after the Bridge of Sighs in Venice, Italy. It looks nothing like it.
While in Cambridge, we saw an outdoor production of A Midsummer Nights Dream. This freakish bunny played a rather slow, slightly monotone and downright tedious prelude on his accordion. I don't care for the play anyway, so when the easter bunny stepped onto the stage, I really began to wonder what I had gotten myself into. Posted by Picasa
