Hampton Court

Home of Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn, and subsequent wives. An incredible interior court and fountain.
Time for our afternoon nap in the gardens.

After beheading Anne Boleyn, Henry VIII fearing to offend his new bride with remnants of his previous marraige, ordered the removal of all of Anne's initials which had been carved and otherwise placed all over Hampton Court. His servants however, were not 100% thorough and missed a few of her marks, including this one overhead in one of the entryways. Posted by Picasa
